About the Author

Brad Hauck – I love working to help other teachers use computers successfully in their classrooms. After completing High School, I completed a 4 yr apprenticeship with Australia’s main telecommunications company as a Telecommunications Technician (Exchange Maintenance). Having worked on computers daily, when they weren’t a common tool, I developed a deep knowledge of how they worked and what they were capable of doing.

Upon completing my apprenticeship, I left and put myself (with a little help) through University completing a DipTeach. Whilst working in my first teaching post as a computer HOD in a K-12 school, I completed 2 yrs of external study in 1 yr to get my B.Ed (Computer Studies). I then started my MCurricSt (Hons) where I focused my Thesis on “How students use the internet for research.”

In the process of moving schools a couple of times, I wrote my first book about wordprocessing using ClarisWorks. This was followed by Databases and Spreadsheets, and Aussie Netquest. Eventually it was decided to sell these books directly as ebooks to teachers worldwide as a way of trying to help them like I help local teachers.

These initial books have been followed by the best seller, 60 Computer Lesson Plans for Tired Teachers, the Microsoft Word Workbook, Thematic Computer Lesson Plans Units for Space, Weather and Minibeasts, 25 Successful Microsoft Word Projects and now… introducing Another 60 Computer Lesson Plans for Tired Teachers. A new book to be release shortly containing lesson plans for more successful users of computers.
